DO YOU FEEL

BLOGGY?

Gary + Sasha | Curtis Hixon Park Proposal, Tampa, Florida

There are times we’re *really* happy for the “auto-focus” feature of our cameras. Those times are when we’re crying while trying to take pictures of proposals. One of our oldest and dearest friends, Gary, has found his partner for life, Sasha, and decided to have us document his proposal.

Sasha showed up at Curtis Hixon Park looking to meet Gary to go out for dinner. We were there pretending to take photos of a choir. When the choir started singing their song, though, Sasha immediately realized what was happening. As they sang Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”, she walked to the spot that was set up for her: a blanket with flowers. Gary walked up behind her, and when she turned around and saw him our hearts universally melted.

Of course, she said yes. And we are so unbelievably thrilled for them both.

Jason + Fallon | University of Tampa Proposal, Tampa, Florida

Absolutely loved Jason’s surprise proposal to Fallon at The University of Tampa! If you remember last year’s awesome CL Space Wedding of Sarah + Darrell, this was their good friend and they helped set everything for him so that Fallon was completely taken by surprise. Loved every second of it! Congrats guys!!

Sarah + Sean | Postcard Inn Wedding, St. Pete Beach, Florida

This was one of the most emotional weddings we’ve shot in a while. Even though I had never met them in person prior to the wedding, I fell immediately in love with them, and the emotion and beauty of the day still effects me looking back at the photos.

Q: What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
A: It’s hard to pick one favorite moment! We loved getting to spend time before and after the wedding with family and friends who traveled to St. Pete’s Beach to celebrate with us. But we both agreed our first look moment was our favorite part of the day! It was so special and gave us a chance to have a moment together alone before the whirlwind of the evening. We were both overcome with emotion ~ something neither of us were expecting because we were untraditional in letting Sean see me in the dress during the last fitting.

Q: What advice do you have for couples getting married?
A: Everyone says don’t sweat the small stuff. But the big things will fall into place and take care of themselves — the vendors know what they are doing! (Ours were a.mazing!) I think what made our day so special were adding our personal touches when we could. Find ways to incorporate who you are individually and together as a couple into your day. ❤️ It’s your day – make it about your love story❤️

It was only fitting that the flowers for Natalie + Greg’s wedding were sunflowers, because these guys were absolute sunshine. Loved every part of their wedding!

Q: What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
A: I think my favorite parts of the day were when my sister sang, my uncle read during the unity candle, when I saw my puppies, the best man and maid of honor speeches, and seeing all of our friends and family in one room.

Q: What advice do you have for couples getting married?
A: I would advise couples getting married to not sweat the small stuff, everything will work our beautifully. After all, everyone in that room loves and supports you both!

A: Our favorite part of the wedding day was hands down the ceremony! We were both nervous beyond belief but extremely excited to share our commitment in front of closets family and friends. Plus it was short!

Q: What advice do you have for couples getting married?
