DO YOU FEEL

BLOGGY?

Alexa + Craig | Davis Islands Garden Club Wedding, Tampa

We’re in the hottest time of the year, so let’s flashback to our favorite Christmas wedding that we haven’t had a chance to blog about yet! This wedding was everything – from her custom designed dress, to their puppy that photobombed their pictures – every part was happiness. Here’s their take!

Q: What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

Bride’s Answer: Getting to see and spend time with all the friends and family that we don’t usually get to see. The lead up to the vows was so nerve-wracking, I barely remember those, but once we were actually married, that feeling was really awesome.

Groom’s Answer: Getting married, of course! Hanging out with people we don’t get to see very often, relief that all the planning and stressing was over and we could relax.

Q: What advice do you have for couples getting married?

Bride’s Answer: Have a day-of coordinator that you trust; take time off before the wedding; try to relax!! Everything will work out.

Groom’s Answer: Try not to piss the bride off too much. (note from the photographer: this is hilarious and we love you guys!)

Mandy + Casey | The Ivy Astoria Ybor Wedding

This wedding was as stylish as they come, and we fell head over heels in love with the couple. It was also exciting to shoot one of the first weddings at the new Ybor event venue, The Ivy Astoria! Here’s the view from the bride + groom:

Q: What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

A: My favorite part of the whole day was the entire ceremony. It looked so beautiful and seeing all my family and friends as I walked down the aisle to Casey was just magical.

Q: What advice do you have for couples getting married?

A: The best advice I could give to some one planning a wedding is to stay organized and don’t over analyze every detail. Go with your gut and it will turn out just how you imagined.

Jamie + Brad | St. Petersburg Museum of Art Wedding

It’s hard to imagine a more perfect day than Jamie + Brad’s wedding day. The weather was insanely gorgeous, they had their adorable puppy show up for photos, and there were fireworks! Loved it all. Here’s what they said about their wedding:

Q: What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

A: The favorite part of our wedding day – The fireworks of course, I mean how can you top that?!

Q: What advice do you have for couples getting married?

A: Our advice to couples getting married – Planning a wedding is hard, its literally a full time job on top of your day job. It can be overwhelming and stressful at times BUT don’t forget to take a step back every so often to enjoy these moments because in just a blink of an eye it will all be over. You will wake up the next day MARRIED and realize how perfect everything was regardless of how difficult it may have been to get there so remember, enjoy it!

Mary + Greg | Gasparilla Inn Wedding, Boca Grande

We’re not gonna lie, Boca Grande weddings are some of our favorite weddings of all time. The location is so perfectly secluded and gorgeous, and home to one of our most favorite little places to grab a latte and a donut and watch the world go by – The Gasparilla Inn Café. This perfect wedding was no exception. <3 Here’s what the bride and groom had to say about it!

Q: What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

A: The ceremony (and exchanging our vows in such a picturesque setting – reflection of the palms across the pond, bright moon, pink sky!)

Q: What advice do you have for couples getting married?

A: The planning and details may seem never-ending and overwhelming at times, but know that it’s ALL for worth it! And make it your own.
